SAF® Bread Machine Yeast is a fast-acting yeast with excellent performance in bread machines. Ascorbic acid, a dough conditioner, is added to help dough stretch easily. For bread machine baking on regular cycles, use 1/2 teaspoon SAF® Bread Machine Yeast for each cup of flour and 80ºF liquids. For one-hour bread machine cycles, yeast amounts must be doubled or tripled; suggested liquid amounts vary with machines. One-hour cycles require liquids be heated before adding to pan. Consult manual for recommended temperatures.
