Pfeiffer dressings originated in a Buffalo, New York restaurant called the Marine Grille. Samuel Pfeiffer owned the restaurant and developed the dressing for his popular chef salad. In the late 1950’s, he expanded the varieties of dressings and began selling the Pfeiffer brand through local supermarkets. Gradually, the Pfeiffer brand expanded its market down the East Coast to the Southern states. Available in twenty-six varieties, Pfeiffer dressings are Kosher.
